The Majestic Dreams Foundation Inc., is a nonprofit corporation based under the laws of the state of California. It was formed and created by Aimee Galicia Torres, the CEO/Chairman/President on January 8, 2010.
The Majestic Dreams Foundation through numerous ventures aims to provide aid to sexually abused survivors as well as promote awareness for all forms of abuse. The Majestic Dreams Foundation teams up with Aimester Productions LLC to provide films that reflect this growing epidemic, so that we as a society can bring about a change.
The Majestic Dreams Foundation is a progressive 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization located in Southern California. The Majestic Dreams Foundation is committed to driving social change through the use of numerous ventures such as motion pictures based on the highest production quality with include socially impacting films that bring awareness to our society.
Goals and Purpose
The purpose is to provide aide to those in need.
Our goal is to provide awareness to specific causes, and to create an equal opportunity to make dreams come true.
Missions
To spread an awareness of ALL forms of abuse worldwide. (i.e. sexual, physical, emotional, psychological)
To shed the light on ALL forms of human trafficking. (i.e. modern day slavery such as sex trafficking, labor trafficking)
To provide counsel to those in desperate need of help. (i.e. suicide hotline, counseling for abused women, seminars, etc.)
To provide financial aid and rescue abused victims. (i.e. women who have been sold into sex slavery)
To provide financial aid to people unable to afford schooling.
To provide financial aid to projects that set to promote a worldwide impact based on the causes we set out to aid.
Rescue Shelters
We at The Majestic Dreams Foundation hope to create rescue shelters in third world countries to rescue children and adults from Brothels, and put an end to the human sex trade. At these rescue shelters, we hope to provide education, medical care, and job placement, so that these children and adults, will feel confident and secure in whatever job they choose to aspire. This will prevent the return of most adults back into the sexual trade.
Counseling and Aid Assistance
The Majestic Dreams Foundation plans to provide counseling and aid assistance to abused victims worldwide. This in turn, provide an outlet for people who have no one to turn to. We hope to save many lives, by giving back and helping those who need our help.
We here at The Majestic Dreams Foundation would like to provide some sort of disaster relief service that drops food, water, and other essentials to places in need. Using experienced personnel, they will fly to the nearest unaffected area, in order to provide help to the specific affected area by coordinating with the local government by providing local resources as well as providing security for the actual food drops. They will arrive via boat or truck depending on the location coinciding with local government. For example, in Haiti, the area's around Port-Au-Prince are highly affected yet aid has been unable to reach them. The relief will be lead by my husband, John M. Ferguson, who is currently employed within the U.S Army, and has prior experience with humanitarian aid drops in Iraq.
How our relief will differ from the relief in Haiti?
Currently in Haiti, in the initial days in which were the most crucial, uncoordinated relief efforts were lead. This in turn failed to reach the Haitian people, which included doctors with no medical supplies, no tents, no food or water and massive profiteering, “We need your money not food and water,” in which sounded more like a sham considering the lack of food and water in these vital location. The lack of foresight on the initial food and water drops provide no security or a small force which can lead to riots that would vastly differ from our own.
Other Financial Aids
Another idea is to provide funds that rescues American citizens from kidnappers. The American government does not negotiate with terrorists, which is rightly so, and it is a mostly overlooked field of misery as Americans can often look forward to torture, rape, and degradation in the hands of their captors.
